Infomate is a business process outsourcing company and part of John Keells Holdings, one of Sri Lanka's largest conglomerates. Group membership sets the bar: the piece has to sit comfortably alongside the parent company's material.
The Challenge
BPO is genuinely hard to show. The service is process — finance and accounting operations run on someone else's behalf. There is no product, and the value is in reliability, which is the least visual quality there is.
The Approach
Process made visible. Workflows, data moving between systems, tasks completing. The animation has to invent a way to see something that normally happens invisibly.
Corporate register, held. This speaks to finance directors and procurement teams, not to a consumer feed. Precision over personality.
Group-standard finish. Being a John Keells company means the work is measured against the whole group's output, not just its own sector.
Clarity as the brief. In B2B the decision is rational. The animation's job is to make the offer understood, not to make it exciting.
